LES SCOTTON (1954-2021)

Man behind the design and our legend.

Originally hailing from beautiful British Columbia, Les Scotton was involved in a plethora of business ventures that took him across the globe. Salmon fishing in the Pacific, logging, running a saw mill, building houses, sheep farming in the outback of Australia, eco fuel development in Barbados, Brazil and Uruguay. Les finally settled in Simcoe County where his children and grandchildren have staked ground and called the southern Ontario countryside “home”. Always tinkering with woodworking in one way or another, what began as a semi-retirement hobby evolved into a family run business. Les has left a legacy that his family is incredibly proud of.

DANIEL SCOTTON

Father to Ainsleigh and Josie and husband to Brittany, Daniel joined the family business to allow more freedom for, well, family!

With an education in Marketing and Business, and a previous career in Project Management, oddly enough Daniel's main role is fabrication of the metal hoops and assembling each and every clock.

You will also find him at the few artisan shows we still are able to participate in, such as the One of a Kind show in Toronto, there to discuss our story and clock making process to anyone who wishes to ask!

VICTORIA SCOTTON

Mother of two daughters and wife to Mario, Victoria's main focus is always her family. But her husband can attest to her second love being all things clocks.

With an education and previous career in accounting, Victoria handles the books, social media, website, laser work, shipping and pouring epoxy inlays and overlays.

She is fully committed to bringing you the best product possible, while continuing to elevate Generational Design Works clock game.
