Starting as most woodworking ventures do, Generational Design Ltd. was born out of a love for creating all things wood from a small house garage space. Les Scotton was the principle designer, shortly thereafter joined by his daughter, Victoria and son, Daniel.
The venture took a turn when we landed on our signature live edge clock design. Now, six years later, our one of a kind live edge wood clocks grace the walls of over 10,000 homes, cottages and business spaces. There is nothing more satisfying than creating the perfect clock to suit individual styles and our team is here to walk you through the process from start to finish!

Sorry, I really cannot comment as it is a Christmas gift.
But I really liked it because of the wood’s edge. It looked like clouds and sky to me.
I would have liked the blue gel somewhere in it as water but I really will enjoy it the way it is. I’m not sure if it had 4 numbers 🤔 but I prefer numbers to nothing but then again it might have looked too cluttered.
Now as long as it works! We won’t know until next Christmas.

This is the first time we've purchased from Generational Design Works. The clock came very quickly, within a few days and was packaged extremely well. What we love most about the clock is that it is definitely "different" and looks like no other clock design out there. We were looking for something classy, different, and pretty much "a show piece." Designs are beautiful. The fact that you utilize products from Canada, another star right there for you. Keep up the beautiful, "Canadian" inspired work.
